Turkey dominates foreign investments in the non-energy sectors of Azerbaijan, according to Umit Yanik, the director-general of the International Organization of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen.
Yanik said that Turkey’s total investments in Azerbaijan had reached USD 5 billion this year, and that Turkish companies employed some 50 000 Azerbaijani workers, according to the news agency Regnum.
He also claimed that annual trade turnover between the two states would exceed USD 2 billion in the near future.
