Russian and Armenian customs officials signed an agreement simplifying customs procedures for alcohol exports on March 20.
Deputy chief of the Armenian State Customs Committee Gagik Khachatryan said other issues relating to the Armenian alcohol exports to Russia were discussed, including setting up a second ferry route to Russia’s Kavkaz port for Armenian goods.
Due to closed borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Russia and Georgia, Armenia exports cargo to Russia via Georgia’s Poti port.
