Baku-Supsa pipeline to resume functioning

The Baku-Supsa pipeline will resume functioning at full capacity in a couple of days, declares Azeri State Oil Company Vice-President Elshad Nasirov.

The pipeline, a pilot project prior to BTC , stopped functioning almost one and a half years ago due to construction work. It was just to begin operating again when the Russians attacked Georgia in August, delaying the start of the pumping operations. Now BP, the pipeline operator, thinks it is ready to be fully activated once more.
