Georgian-Armenian trade turnover

Armenia’s foreign trade turnover from January to August 2008 was USD 82.9 million. Of this amount, USD 54.8 million represents Armenian export earnings. Armenia imported goods worth USD 28.2 million from Georgia during the reporting period.
Georgia’s total share of Armenia’s foreign trade is 2.5%. By comparison, Ukraine has a 6.6% share and Kazakhstan 5.2%. Armenia’s most significant trade partner is Russia, which accounts for 19.5% of total trade turnover. The volume of Armenian trade has increased compared to last year.
