Ukraine optimistic about receiving Caspian oil
Monday, November 10
Ukrainian Minister for Fuel and Energy Vladimir Makukha stated on November 7 that there is possibly enough oil in the Caspian region to fulfil the Odessa - Brody project. This was the Ukrainian answer to those skeptics who think that the Odessa-Brody pipeline is not viable.
As is known Kazakhstan is intending to increase its oil exports and the Odessa - Brody project could be made viable by this increase in Kazakh supply.
