Azerbaijani importers enjoy bonus

The current financial crisis has created a favourable situation for those Azeri companies which import raw materials from abroad and produce goods in Azerbaijan. This is reported by the Chairman of the Marketing Society of Azerbaijan, Ragim Huseinov. He thinks however that in the near future there could be some employment problems.

The Azeri leadership has always maintained that the world economic crisis has bypassed Azerbaijan. IMF and World Bank specialists have stated that the Azeri economy can better resist a financial crisis than those of other countries.
