Business will work together for Georgia

On May 15 several major business organizations such as ICC Georgia, AmCham , Georgian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, etc gathered key business people together to discuss the main challenges the business community is currently facing.
The participants of the meeting agreed to work together to further improve the business climate in Georgia in areas of importance to all businesses and to continue promoting the general growth of the Georgian economy. Areas of discussion included trade & transport facilitation and tax administration. Members of the business community will shortly submit to the Government their suggestions in this regard.
The businessmen underlined the importance of stability and long term visibility for the country, requesting the immediate opening of the roads in the capital. All business organizations present expressed their wish to work towards the creation of an alliance which would properly address the major challenges facing business. A memorandum of understanding for such an alliance will shortly be prepared.
