The September money transfer figures are encouraging and may signify that the crisis is ending. In September Georgia received USD 80.4 million in money transfers 5 million more than in August. There have been increases in transfers from Russia as well as Greece, USA, Turkey and Spain.
Since the August Russian invasion and the world financial crisis money transfers into Georgia have been decreasing. The new tendency may be assessed as a positive element in the country’s economic condition.
