Turkey - Georgia’s biggest trading partner

Between January-October 2009 foreign trade turnover was almost USD 4.5 billion. Georgia has a negative trade turnover with 99 partner countries and a positive one with 29 countries.

The biggest foreign trade partner of Georgia is Turkey, the turnover of USD 842 million with this country being bigger than last year. Next comes Azerbaijan with USD 453 million and third Ukraine with around USD 354 million.
