Constanca will receive liquid gas from Azerbaijan

Georgia, Romania and Azerbaijan are planning to sign an agreement on constructing two terminals for storing liquid gas, one in Georgia and the other in Romania. The Romanian side says that through those terminals it will be possible to transport 3-8 billion cubic metres of gas, thus making it possible for Romania to become the energy supply centre of Europe at a cost of Euro 4-6 billion.

It should be added that on February 17 Romania also confirmed its readiness to participate in the South Stream project. It submitted to Russia all the necessary documents for preparing a feasibility study for this project.
