Akhali Taoba reports that in Russia, precisely in the North Ossetia more serious propaganda was started to occupy Kasbegi region of Georgia. Concerning this the community house Stepantsminda has held special conferences discussing the threats Georgia faces.
In his interview with Akhali Taoba the analyst Mamuka Areshidze states that the organisation Deriali was created by the Russian special services. For this purpose the members of the organization were given special missions and funds as well. They plan to do everything in their power to return to Kasbegi and arrange some provocations and if they manage to do it Areshidze doesn’t rule out that Russia will use this situation and will immediately invade our country on the ground of protecting its own citizens. Economist Shota Buchukuri also thinks that Armenia’s loads transported through Georgia is beneficial neither for us nor for Armenia itself, as sending these loads through Larsi is much more expensive then through Poti or Batumi ports.
Mamuka Areshidze: we can’t let confrontation on May 30
The Analyst Mamuka Areshidze states in the interview with Akhali Taoba: The situation is becoming more and more strained and as soon as the elections are finished (if they are held at all) this tension will reach its peak. Now I even have no idea how everything will be developing after the elections, however observing the present situation I should state that nothing positive will happen.
It shouldn’t be excluded also that in Georgia which is the object of Russia’s interest serious confrontation may take place and May 26 can really turn out to be the starting point of it. I want to state that even a single body lying dead on Rustaveli Avenue will be enough for the outburst of the civil war. One should keep in mind Kyrgyzstan.
From the analyst’s point of view there undoubtedly exist the forces trying to create the confrontation artificially. But the government and society must be on alert. Otherwise we ourselves may ruin our own country not understanding what we are doing.
