Last week the Tbilisi Book Festival was held in the Tbilisi Event Hall. More than 80 publishing houses presented several hundred books, including audio books and CDs. This was the 12th such event and the number of participants is increasing.
The books were available for cheaper prices than are usually charged in bookshops. The concern expressed by some people that interest in printed books is fading and that the computers are replacing books luckily does not seem to be the case in Georgia.
