Armenia’s position on resumption of Turkish-Armenian relations

Armenia and Turkey relations will only improve when both parties negotiate without preconditions and decide to open the borders, but Turkey is insisting on preconditions which hinder the further relaxation of the situation, Armenia’s Foreign Minister stated during a meeting with his Austrian counterpart on June 25.
Eduard Nalbandian reckons that normalisation is possible without preconditions. The protocols already signed do not contain any preconditions as neither side initially demanded any.
