IMF Permanent Representative in Armenia Guillermo Tolosa recently mentioned that due to the efficient measures taken by the Armenian Government the country has resisted the crisis and has developed an engine to improve the situation. Tolosa thinks that today Armenia’s economy has successfully emerged from the crisis and is moving towards development, targeting not just overcoming the crisis but further developing the economy. He evaluated the country's performance during the crisis period highly but said that Armenia still has to grow in very sophisticated and difficult ways and faces lots of obstacles.
