Georgian railway increases its transportation capacity

In the first 8 months of 2010, Georgian railways transported 13.9 million tonnes of cargo, which is almost 9% more than had been planned, and 21.5% higher than it was during the same period last year. More than half of the transported goods are oil and oil products; the remainder is comprised of dry cargo.
