WB cooperation with Armenia

Wednesday, September 15 Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian met Philippe Le Houerou, Vice President of Europe and Central Asia for the World Bank. The President highly values the World Bank's activities in the country, and highlighted the importance of such cooperation, mentioning the experience the country receives from the World Bank's involvement. He also mentioned the importance of the results yielded from this ongoing cooperation. The World Bank official mentioned that WB cooperation with Armenia is exemplary. According to him, the portfolio of World Bank programs in the region is the best not only from a programs perspective, but also in terms of quality and implementation. The sides expressed their readiness and commitment to undergo further, deeper cooperation.
