GDP grew in the second quarter

Georgian PM Nika Gilauri considers the performance of the Georgian economy in the second quarter of 2010 to be very significant. The GDP indicator reached almost GEL 5 billion in the second quarter and the actual growth of the GDP in this period, compared with 2009, reached 8.4 %. According to the PM, this indicator is the best ever for this period and attributed the growth to such spheres as tourism export, foreign investment and different projects by international financial institutions.
