Azerbaijani increases military expenditure

The Azeri 2011 budget 2011 allocates more than USD 1 bln to the defense, which is around 10% more than the 2010 figure. It is interesting that internal forces and the state security service fall under the law enforcement bodies, as a separate budget item to defense spending.
