Azeri, Armenian and Georgian liberals sign declaration

Armenian National Movement leader Aram Manukian, Azeri Musavat party leader Isa Gambar and leader of the Georgian Republican party Davit Usupashvili signed a joint declaration on October 7 in the German city of Potsdam. The declaration states that these liberal parties agree on future full range cooperation for the South Caucasus with peaceful settlements of the conflicts, in order for the South Caucasus to become a stable and developing region and eventually be integrated into Europe. The parties declared their commitment to democracy, creating an open society, the primary rule of law, pluralism and respect of human rights.
