US asks Azerbaijan stop transferring money to Iran

The US is trying to use its influence to prevent an influx of money into Iran because of its nuclear programs. The US highlighted that the international community has been forced to impose sanctions against Iran, as Iran’s nuclear power policy threatens not only regional but world security as a whole. Washington is sure that the Azeri and US interest coincide in this regard. The US thinks that a UN Security Council resolution imposing sanctions against Iran concerns not only a handful of companies and enterprises, but to the entire world community which should be avoiding sending financial resources to Iran.
