Money transfers in Armenia

In January-September 2010 physical entities in Armenia received transfers worth USD 1.1 billion. The figure is slightly less than same period of 2009. The majority of funds flowing into Armenia comes from Russia – USD 752 million; then from USA – USD 90 million and thirdly from the UAE – USD 19 million. Armenia also received USD 1.9 million from Turkey. In addition, during the same period, USD 504 million was transferred from Armenia to foreign countries.
