US government has expressed a readiness for American companies to participate in the construction of a new nuclear power station to be built in Armenia during the inter-government commission session of the two countries. The existing Armenian nuclear power plant is managed by Russian companies. And Russia will also most probably carry out the construction of a new nuclear power station, meaning that the Russians will have to endorse any US participation in the project.
