Azerbaijan plans to provide Ukraine with 5 billion cubic metres of liquid gas and up to 5 million tonnes of oil annually, announced Azeri Industry and Energy Minister, Natik Aliev. The Minister also said that he was confident that in the near future liquefied gas transportation will become more active and efficient. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side is preparing the Odessa-Brody Pipeline to operate regularly in reverse mode to pump oil from Odessa to Brody. This route has great potential – extra jobs will be created and the energy supply will be stabilised.
