According to official information from the statistics department as at December 2010 the current minimum amount needed to survive for physically capable males was determined to be GEL 149.5. Last year this stood at GEL 126. As for the average consumer his/her minimum for existence is GEL 132. The existing minimum of the average family is GEL 250.
