Hungary interested in receiving liquid gas from Azerbaijan

Hungary has expressed its interest in receiving Azeri gas in liquefied form. It intends to join the AGRI project which envisages the transportation of Azeri gas via Georgia to the Romanian port of Constanca and onward to Hungary. The country is also interested in joining the South Stream gas transportation project as well as NABUCCO. The country is trying to diversify its gas supply to increase the competition and decrease prices.
