Azerbaijan is capable to export 30 bln q.m natural gas

In November 2010, Azerbaijani geologists found another huge gas field in Umid. Together with oil and gas fields "Azeri”, “Chirag’’, "Gumshel’’ and others they can altogether produce more than 30 bln cubic meters of gas for export. Test drilling at the new gas field commence in 2011.

The company SOCAR is involved in the exploration and management of the field.
