Ukraine and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum during the Davos Forum on January 28, 2011 allowing for the provision of liquefied gas and oil to Ukraine. The memorandum was reached during the meeting between Presidents Yanukovich and Aliev, while the two countries' respective energy ministers signed the document. The agreement envisages providing in 2014 2 bln cubic meters and in 2015 5 mln cubic meters of liquefied Azeri gas to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukraine will build a terminal for de-liquefying gas. The agreement for providing Azeri oil to Ukraine to fill the Odesa-Brodi oil pipeline envisages sending through this route up to 20 mln tonnes of oil.
