Georgia attracts foreign businesses

Many foreign businesses are deciding to register in Georgia and conduct their business here. By 2010, the number of foreign legal entities registered in Georgia comprised the following: Turkey 460 companies, India 209 companies, Azerbaijan 151, Armenia – 103, China -75. Some of these registered entities represent individual entrepreneurs while others are limited liability enterprises and some are affiliations of foreign companies. Turkish and Indian businessmen are involved mainly in food production.
