Turkey to receive 50 mln tourists by 2023

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism reports that the number of tourists visiting Turkey in 2011 has increased compared with previous years. As a result, the country's budget has received a significant boost. The ministry suggests the increase of the number of tourists in Turkey will continue so that by 2023 Turkey will have received around 50 mln tourists which will eventually mean that the country will be receiving USD 50 bln revenue only from tourism industry. Turkey is among the ten most popular tourist destinations for holiday makers worldwide.
