FDI in the first quarters of 2011

Foreign Direct Investments in Azerbaijan in January- April 2011 reached USD 810 million. For the same period FDI in Armenia reached only USD 130 mln which is less than the same period last year. Information about the FDI into Georgia has not yet been made available. The Statistics Department has so far declined to release this data which has aroused suspicion that the figure might be far lower than the authorities had hoped.
