Analyst against businessmen coming into politics

Economic analyst and former Minister of State Property Management Solomon Pavliashvili stated recently that the ruling administration is trying to bring businessmen into politics. According to him this is a negative plan which can facilitate the establishment of oligarch clans as according to the analyst the businessmen who would become either an MP or Government member would definitely try to protect and promote his own business interests. This step will encourage the development of a monopolistic environment. Some MPs are simultaneously heads of financial ventures and therefore are conducting their political duties with personal interests in mind.
