Georgia to provide electricity to Iran through Armenia

The head of the governing council of Georgia’s state electro systems Sulkhan Chumburidze has signed amendments to the document regarding the construction of a Georgia-Armenia electro energy transmission line. This amendment envisages providing Iran with electricity from Georgia via Armenia through this transmission line. The construction is scheduled to be finished by 2014. The document was initially signed in 2010.
