Until Europe has gained more independence concerning energy, and while Moscow supports Armenia it will be very difficult to solve the Karabakh conflict, thinks James Coyle, Director of the Center for Global Education at Chapman University in California. Discussing the NABUCCO project, analysts pointed out that as long as significant partners are not identified, the NABUCCO project will not be realized. Azerbaijan is supposedly ready to provide 10 bln cubic meters of gas for NABUCCO but there is a need for a total of 30 bln cubic meters of gas, and unless the rest of the volume is secured the project cannot move ahead.
