Kiev and Baku to promote liquefied gas business

Ukraine and Azerbaijan decided to create a joint company for facilitating transportation of Azeri natural gas to Ukraine. A feasibility study will be carried out and elaborated for the best project in this area. The terminals will be constructed which first will be liquefying natural gas, then transported to Ukraine, where it would be de liquefied at another terminal. It is planned that for 2014, around 2 billion cubic metres of liquefied gas will be transported to Ukraine from Azerbaijan. Georgia will receive profits from this if the transportation is conducted through Georgia.
