Comments on EU Position

Azerbaijani political analyst Vafa Guluzade thinks that the EU recognized Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan as part of Eastern Europe. Thus a signal was sent to Russia that the EU is protecting these countries. The analyst suggests that it is no secret that Russia wants to restore the Soviet Union, however the EU insists on giving these countries free choice. The analyst thinks this is a signal towards Turkey as well. Guluzade makes his conclusions based on the Warsaw Summit decisions.
