Into 2015 Georgia will become "a country with a high average income", promises the Georgian Government's strategic plan. According to this plan "in the near future the GDP growth in the country will be higher than the average indicators around the world" and at the end of a four-year period it will reach double-digit growth figures which will increase investor interest towards the country and cause new jobs to be created. The Government promises that by 2015 GDP per capita will have increased by more than 60% compared to 2011 and will reach more than 5000 USD annually per capita, more than three times the income per capita in 2005. These very optimistic estimations might become reality if developments are favorable.
