Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway problems

There have appeared to be certain problems in the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. These problems are mainly in the Turkish segment of railways and this is due to financial problems. Turkey has already invested Euro 180 mln but only around 35% of the works have been finished. Turkish government is considering attracting private investors to solve the problem. Initially it was planned to finish the project in 2012.
