In the ten point plan for Georgia’s strategic development one important issue is the attraction of investment and thus the creation of jobs. Georgian authorities keep repeating that they are attracting foreign investments into the country. The fact however cannot be ignored that the inflow of FDI has been decreasing since 2007. Just a month is left until the end of 2011 and it is unlikely that many investments will enter Georgia before 2012. So far, as the EBRD states, Georgia has around USD 730 mln investments.
