Former deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Vaan Shirkhanyan, believes that Azerbaijan’s attempt to enlarge its military will not create a situation in which it has an advantage over Armenian forces. However, he recommends that his country carry out an enhancement of their combat facilities, including not only an increase in arms but also training of soldiers and officers. Some Armenian analysts are claiming that the military conflict between their country and Azerbaijan could erupt again without intervention from larger states.
