U.S. sends arms to Georgia, foreign aid to CIS

According to Eurasianet, the United States government intends to sell Tbilisi military equipment worth approximately 14 million USD.
The U.S. will also provide Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan with 1.5 million USD in foreign assistance each, and Kazakhstan with 1.8 million USD. Turkmenistan will receive 685 000 USD, while Azerbaijan and Armenia will each obtain 2.7 million USD.
