Government may end commercial privacy laws

Georgian commercial enterprises are currently protected by a law that keeps their income, profit, and other details private. However, the administration is considering making this information available to a number of government bodies.

Critics believe that this will make businesses more vulnerable to government abuse, as well as to privacy violations from criminals or competitors.
