Salaries up, employment stagnant

Salaries have been increasing in Georgia, but the rate of employment remains the same.
Larger business are the most likely to grow, investing in better equipment and newer technologies, requiring fewer employees.
The lowest salaries in Georgia are in the agriculture and education sectors, with an average monthly salary of 350 GEL in the former and 340 GEL in the latter. The highest salaries are found in the business and financial sector.
