Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway to be completed by 2013

Construction on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway began in 2007, and builders as estimating that the first trains will run in 2013. All three involved countries – Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia – are making an effort to finish project on time. The line will connect Europe and Asia and will facilitate the transport of more passengers and cargo through the region.
