Data from the past three months show that money transfers into Georgia are on the rise, with $108 million USD in remittances sent into the country in that period.
The largest amount transferred comes from Russia, at $56 million USD, followed by Greece with $12 million, Italy with $10 million, and the US with $7 million.
A portion of the Georgian population depends on these transfers, thanks to high unemployment and low salaries.
