Flowers prices on the rise

Rezonansi reports that the price of flowers has increased significantly recently, up 40-50% over last year.

Flower dealers say that their sales have declined because of a lack of interest in fresh flowers.



Unity for Justice wants to invite ministers at government hour

Rezonansi is reporting that on April 26 the parliamentary faction Unity for Justice will ask five government ministers to attend the government hour in Parliament. Invited are the ministers of Internal Affairs, Justice, Corrections and Legal Assistance, and Culture.

The opposition group has already sent the ministers 26 questions.

Speaker of Parliament Davit Bakradze said that the government had already consulted with the ministers about the hour, but did not say whether they would be able to attend. Parliament hold a government hour on the last Thursday of every month.
