The 2012 national budget has been criticized by economic analysts for allotting little spending to education, healthcare, or other social services. For instance, 0.3% is designed for environmental protection, 2% for leisure, culture and religion, 5% for healthcare, 8% for education, 9% for defense, 12% for security inside the country, 14% for the economy, 21% for social protection, and 28% general state services.
