Lithuania concerned about Russia-Ukraine relationship

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azhubalis, in an interview with a German media outlet, stated that it is important for EU member states to keep close relations with Ukraine, as their fates are interdependent. Dialogue with Kiev should be kept open, he believes, although he highlighted that close relations between Russia and Ukraine is potentially threatening.
Lithuania considers Ukraine to be an important trade and transport partner.
