Turkey to enter top ten

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan recently stated that by 2023 the country aims to enter the list of top ten largest economies. In this regard, the country wants to dedicate more potential to the development of the private sector. According to the PM, Turkey moved into the direction of sustainable development. If ten years ago Turkey’s GDP was $230 billion, today it’s almost three-times that figure, now exceeding $775 billion. The reserves of the Turkish Central Bank came to $93 billion, whereas ten-years ago it was only $27 billion. The country is also controlling inflation, which appears to be permanently decreasing. According to the Turkish PM, the country thus could become a good example for many states worldwide.
