Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan cannot divide Caspian Sea

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan officials recently met to discuss the issue of dividing the Black Sea territory. Azerbaijan is against the Turkmen initiative to begin exploration work on the Caspian Sea bed which is on the border of territories claim by both countries. Azerbaijan protested steps by Turkmenistan threatening to take measures to protect the sovereign rights of this segment of the Caspian Sea.
