In the first half of 2012, the foreign trade turnover from breakaway Abkhazia reached more than 6 billion Russian rubles. 64% of this amount is with Russia, 18% with Turkey. There are also Baltic countries, Moldova, Germany, Ukraine and China. Altogether, the separatist regime has trade relations with around 30 countries. What is interesting is that the Georgian Foreign Ministry always protests the economic ties with breakaway regions in particular of Russia. However, not much is said about other countries.
